We Hear of Love, of Youth, and of Disillusionment

I think the reason I like this photo so much is that despite their surroundings - the interviewer, the cameraman with the intrusive camera’s eye focused on them, the soundboom hanging over head, the fancy hotel room and all the things ‘behind the scenes’ - Ben and Andrew are looking at each other. I guess it kind of reaffirms the hope that no matter what happens around them and whatever external changes happen, they’ll still have each other to depend on to get though the craziness. It’ll always be just the two of them, just as it was when they met as young boys at Wesleyan and started this whole journey.
